Purchase of Tickets

By purchasing a ticket you agree to the following terms:

  • Tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions of the promoters and of The Regency Dance Centre Ltd.
  • The Regency Dance Centre Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule all events on short notice. This will only be done in extreme situations only.
  • Refunds will not be provided unless the event is cancelled or re-scheduled. In the case of the event being re-scheduled, whilst every effort will be made to contact you, it is the ticket-holders responsibility to find out the new times and dates of the event
  • A valid ticket must be produced to enter the event. If you are collecting your ticket on the door, please provide your name upon arrival and your ticket will be provided to you.
  • If tickets are delivered, they will be posted to you via normal post and can take up to 2-3 working days to arrive. If you wish your tickets to be posted to you please can you order the early in advance to ensure your tickets arrive on time.
  • Tickets must not be resold without the express permission of The Regency Dance Centre Ltd.
  • For our events no cameras/recording equipment can be used without the prior permission of the management. Faliure to abide by this may result in your exclusion from the premesis and no refund will be offered.
  • The management reserves the right to refuse entry/eject the ticket holder if, in their reasonable opinion, their behaviour or attitude is disorderly or will affect the enjoyment of the other ticket holders (e.g. drunken behaviour, under the influence of drugs etc.). If asked to leave for any of the above reasons, a refund will not be offered.
  • The management reserve the right to refuse sale of tickets and therefore entry to the venue when the maximum capacity reccomended by the Fire Officer is reached.
  • If you have any problems or complaints please inform one of the bar staff or one of the directors so that the issue can be delt with as efficently and as soon as possible.
  • Animals are not permitted inside the venue (except guide dogs).
  • Any damage or loss of property is not the responsibility of the management and will therefore not be held accountable.
  • The Regency Dance Centre Ltd. will not be held accountable for wilfull acts, omissions or negligence by any 3rd party.
  • Only food or drink purchased on the premesis may be consumed therin unless prior permission from the management is obtained.
  • It is now illegal to smoke on the premises.

We understand that sometime in life you have the pressure of work, family illnesses or other issues that may affect you attending your pre-booked lesson. 

However, lesson slots with our instructors are becoming more valuable and failure to attend could mean that someone else may miss out on a lesson. 

A minimum of twenty four hours notice is required if you wish to cancel your appointment otherwise you will be charged the full amount of your scheduled lesson.  

Cancellations should preferably be made by e-mail or text but you are able to speak to someone directly by ringing our mobile on 07947 813328 or leave a message.

If you attend classes, you will also need to inform the instructor who leads the class. 

1. Introduction and General Terms

2. What information will The Regency Dance Centre Ltd. collect about me and how is it used?

When registering to classes, lessons, our newsletter or when you complete various forms or purchase products, the Regency may ask for personal information. An example of the type of information requested can be your name, your email address, your postal address, your home or mobile telephone number or what style of dance/event you may be interested in. In certain case we may request additional information such as details for room hire. 

By entering your details, it is then possible for us to firstly facilitate your request and then improve communication, marketing and customer service. 

Please be aware that on some webpage’s (such as the online “Shop”) may require you to enter sensitive information. The Regency Dance Centre Ltd. does not under any circumstances hold financial information without the owners express prior consent.

The Regency also uses cookies and collects IP addresses (an IP address is a number that can uniquely identify a specific computer or other network device on the internet). This is so we can prevent spamming or malicious activity on our site and to improve the overall customer experience when visiting our website. It also allows us to determine activity usage of our site for marketing and research purposes. 

3. How will The Regency Dance Centre Ltd. use the information they collect about me?

The Regency will use the information for a number of purposes. These are:
  •  For “administration” which means we may contact you in relation to website services (e.g. to confirm email validity or to provide you with password reminders);

The Regency Dance Centre Ltd will sometimes request to send you information by post or email. All users have the choice to subscribe or unsubscribe to the newsletter facility at any time. However, if you decide to opt out of the newsletter, you may not be able to get the full benefit of notice of events or offers that the Regency can offer.

6. Will The Regency Dance Centre Ltd. share my personal information with anyone else?

The Regency Dance Centre Ltd may share your personal information with third parties in order to process your information (with our Customer Relationship Management software) and to facilitate your requests (such as PayPal). We will never share or sell your data to any other third-party company. We may also share your personal information with Law Enforcement agencies if we are required to do so by law. 

7. Offensive or inappropriate content on the Regency website

Any material that breaks the terms of our Website Use Policy, including offensive or inappropriate content, will not be tolerated on this website or whilst using the facilities at The Regency Dance Centre Ltd. When deemed inappropriate, the Regency reserves the right to use your personal information in order to stop such behaviour and will pass it on to any relevant authorities if required.

8. What if I am a user aged 16 or under?

If you are under the age of 16, we ask that you obtain permission from a parent/guardian before submitting any personal information. The Regency will not collect information from persons under 16 without this permission.

9. How long will The Regency Dance Centre Ltd. keep my personal information?

The Regency will hold membership details indefinitely for marketing purposes, however if you decide that you do not wish to be contacted again by us, you may withdraw any personal information that you have submitted to us at any point and your data will be erased. Other information (e.g. booking forms, payment orders etc.) will be kept for as long as it is necessary to provide the services you require. In some cases, it may be necessary for us to hold your details for a longer period of time and we will inform you of such occasions.

Your information is stored on a secure server and security updates are regularly made to ensure the safety of your personal details. 

10. Can I find out what personal information The Regency Dance Centre Ltd. holds about me?

The Data Protection Act gives you the right to access any personal information that is stored about you or make any corrections. If you wish to know what information we are holding about you, please contact us with your request and we will supply, correct or delete your information.
