About Us

About The Regency Dance Centre

We're a family‑run dance centre with one clear goal: helping people learn to dance.

A warm, welcoming environment that makes learning fun while building confidence — for children and adults alike, with group classes and private tuition for social dancing, examinations, and competitions.

We specialise in Ballroom and Latin‑American dance for children and adults, but also teach Salsa, Sequence, American Smooth, and Argentine Tango.

Based in an authentic ballroom, ideal for classes, workshops, practice sessions, private functions, and regular social events.

Our Ballroom and Venue

Authentic setting, venue hire, and a rich local history.

The Town Hall was funded in 1876 and opened in early 1889 with an oratorio by the Sutton Harmonic Society. Through the decades, it served as cinema, offices, and billets, later becoming the Rialto and then the Regency Ballroom. After a brief closure in 2007, Chris, Kim, and Andrew Dunn restored it in 2008 as today's dance centre and venue for hire.
