We will be starting a new dance classes in September 2016. Ideal for those who consider themselves having no sense of rhythm and two left feet!
We are always looking for ways to improve the quality of The Regency Ballroom and the service we provide. However we are aware that we cannot do this alone. We would also love to get your opinions and expertise on how we can make the ballroom better for our customers and for our community.
Our next big excursion will be to the UK Closed Championships and Dinner Dance, held at the prestigious Bournemouth International Centre on the south coast.
Last March, a number of our students tool their medal test examinations. Our examiner was a lovely lady called Dawn Bartlett who came to the school from the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD) to assess our dancers.
We are looking to run a workshop day in the Argentine Tango and would like to find out what the interest in this would be.
Dancing is a fun and sociable activity and there is nothing better, in our opinion, than letting go with your body and dancing your troubles away. However there can be a few things that can stop this from being the best feeling. It might be that you struggle to rememebr the steps or that particular turn doesn't feel very easy. In any case, there are a few things that can help.

We are taking a group of dancers and spectators from the Regency to the Champions of Tomorrow Competition, held on the 8th and 9th January 2016 at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
The end of July saw the DPA Summer Festival of Dance at the Bournemouth International Centre. This event was over 4 days from Thursday to Sunday. A great team of dancers, supporters and friends from The Regency Dance Centre attended.
